1. Information on the collection of personal data

(1) In the following, we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user names, user behaviour.

(2) The responsible party pursuant to Art. 4 (7) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is NAWA Präzisionstechnik GmbH, Kachelstein 10, 72519 Veringendorf, Germany (see our imprint). Our data protection officer can be reached at our postal address with the addition “Data Protection Officer”.

(3) When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address, name and telephone number, if applicable) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data arising in this context after the storage is no longer necessary or restrict the processing if there are legal storage obligations.

(4) If we use contracted service providers for individual functions of our offer or would like to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes below. In doing so, we will also state the defined criteria for the storage period.

2. Your rights

(1)  You have the following rights in relation to personal data relating to you:

  • Right to information,
  • Right to correction or deletion,
  • Right to restriction of processing,
  • Right to object to processing,
  •  Right to data transferability.

(2) You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.

3.  Collection of personal data when visiting our website

(1) When using the website for information purposes, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR):

  • IP address
  • Date and time of the request
  • Time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • Content of the request (concrete page)
  •  Access Status/HTTP Status Code
  •  Data volume transferred in each case
  • Website from which the request comes
  •  Browser
  • Operating system and its interface
  • Language and version of the browser software.

 

(2) In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive in relation to the browser you are using and which provide the party setting the cookie (in this case, us) with certain information. Cookies cannot execute programmes or transfer viruses to your computer. They serve to make the internet offer as a whole more user-friendly and effective.

(3) Use of cookies:

(a) This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below:

  • Transient cookies (see (b)),
  •  Persistent cookies (see (c)).

(b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include, in particular, session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the joint session. This enables your computer to be recognised when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

(c) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a predefined period of time, which may differ depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.

(d) You can configure your browser settings according to your preferences and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. Please note that you may not be able to use all the functions of this website.

 

4. Other functions and offers on our website

(1) In addition to the purely informational use of our website, we offer various services that you can use if you are interested. For this purpose, you usually have to provide further personal data which we use to provide the respective service and for which the aforementioned data processing principles apply.

(2) In some cases, we use external service providers to process your data. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions and are regularly monitored.

(3) Furthermore, we may pass on your personal data to third parties if we offer participation in promotions, conclusion of contracts or similar services together with partners. You will receive more information on this when you provide your personal data or in the description of the offer below.

(4) If our service providers or partners are based in a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you of the consequences of this circumstance in the description of the offer.

(5) If we use your data for promotional purposes, we will store your data for as long as you wish to receive communications on the relevant promotional topics or for as long as we wish to remain in contact with you.

 

5.  E-mail

You can contact us via the e-mail address provided. In this case, the data transmitted with your enquiry will be stored. We process the information you provide exclusively for the purpose of processing your enquiry. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.

6.  Objection or revocation against the processing of your data

(1) If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, you may revoke this consent at any time. Such a revocation will affect the permissibility of the processing of your personal data after you have expressed it to us.

(2) Insofar as we base the processing of your personal data on the balance of interests, you can object to the processing. This is the case if the processing is in particular not necessary for the performance of a contract with you, which is shown by us in each case in the following description of the functions. When exercising such an objection, we ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have done. In the event of your justified objection, we will review the merits of the case and either cease or adapt the data processing or show you our compelling legitimate grounds on the basis of which we will continue the processing.

7.  Use of MATOMO

(1) This website uses the web analysis service Matomo (formerly Piwik) to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of Matomo is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR, §25 para. 1 TTDSG.

(2) For this evaluation, cookies (see above 3) for more details) are stored on your computer. The information collected in this way is stored by the responsible party exclusively on its server in Germany. You can set the evaluation by deleting existing cookies and preventing the storage of cookies. If you prevent the storage of cookies, we would like to point out that you may not be able to use this website to its full extent. Preventing the storage of cookies is possible through the setting in your browser. Preventing the use of Matomo is possible by removing the checkmark in the box and thus activating the opt-out plug-in:

(3) This website uses Matomo with the extension “AnonymizeIP”. This means that IP addresses are processed in abbreviated form, which means that they cannot be directly linked to a person. The IP address transmitted by your browser via Matomo is not merged with other data collected by us.

8. Use of Google Maps

(1) On our website, we use Google Maps from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”) on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR, §25 para. 1 TTDSG. Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps in order to visually present geographical information.

(2) When you call up those sub-pages in which the Google Maps map is integrated, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to Google servers in the USA and stored there. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account via which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want your data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. Such an evaluation is carried out on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR, §25 para. 1 TTDSG and enables the display of personalised advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of the website.

(3) You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To do this, simply call up our Consent Banner and change the settings accordingly. Please note that the change in the Consent Banner settings must be made individually for each end device.

(4) Please note that your data may be processed outside the European Union. We would also like to point out that, as a rule, there is no comparable level of protection for personal data in third countries. In third countries, security authorities may be able to access the personal data stored there without you having any legal protection against this. Compliance with the level of data protection according to the GDPR is guaranteed by the conclusion of so-called standard contractual clauses (SCC).

(5) If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google in the context of the use of Google Maps, you also have the option of completely deactivating the Google Maps web service by switching off the application in the JavaScript in your browser. Google Maps and thus also the map display on this website can then not be used.

9. Use of Google Web Fonts

On our website, we use Google Web Fonts from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Webfonts is a collection of fonts for commercial and personal use. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO, §25 para.1 TTDSG. We would also like to point out that your data may be processed outside the European Union. We would also like to point out that, as a rule, there is no comparable level of protection for personal data in third countries. In third countries, security authorities may be able to access the personal data stored there without you having any legal protection against this. Compliance with the level of data protection according to the GDPR is guaranteed by the conclusion of so-called standard contractual clauses (SCC). 10. Integration of YouTube videos

(1) We have integrated YouTube videos into our online offer, which are stored on http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in “extended data protection mode”, which means that no data about you as a user is transmitted to YouTube if you do not play the videos. The data mentioned in paragraph 2 will only be transmitted when you play the videos. We have no influence on this data transmission.

(2) By visiting the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding sub-page of our website. In addition, the data mentioned under point 3 of this declaration are transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account via which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want your data to be associated with your YouTube profile, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or designing its website in line with requirements. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

11. Use of Usercentrics

(1) “This website uses the consent management service Usercentrics, of Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Str. 7, 80331 Munich, Germany (Usercentrics). This enables us to obtain and manage the consent of website users for data processing.

(2) Usercentrics is used to obtain the legally required consent for certain data processing. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. c DS-GVO.

(3) When you enter our website, the following personal data is transferred to Usercentrics:

  • Your consent(s) or the revocation of your consent(s)
  • Your IP address
  • Information about your browser
  • Information about your terminal
  • Time of your visit to the website

(4) Furthermore, Usercentrics stores a cookie in your browser in order to be able to allocate the consents granted to you or their revocation. The data collected in this way is stored until you request us to delete it, delete the Usercentrics cookie yourself or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory legal storage obligations remain unaffected.
